The Connor Brothers is the pseudonym for British artists James Golding and Mike Snelle. The duo came to prominence in 2012 and for several years maintained the guise of two brothers who had been raised in a cult. Their true identities were eventually revealed in 2014, allowing them to exhibit their work internationally and support various philanthropic causes. Juxtaposing pulp fiction illustration with tongue-in-cheek one-liners, The Connor Brothers' art draws attention to the fine line between what is real and what is fiction. Each piece challenges the viewer to question the role of artifice, in art and in life, and does so with a dry wit and sense of humor.
