"You can still snap up etchings by the French painter for about $5,000," says print expert Jonathan Rendell at Christie's. A small print by Picasso or Braque also fits that budget. In February, a Picasso etching was sold at auction for $5,040.  "These are good bets, investment-wise, because there's already an established market for them," Rendell says.
